Creating a Jabber in CUCM is a tedious process and takes 3-5 minutes per phone (creating csf, line, associating phone to user, primary extension,…). This issue becomes acute when you need to create a jabber profile for a new list of users on a weekly basis.
The forthcoming script can do this in 10 seconds by receiving only 4 inputs, and of course, with some minor changes, a CSV file can be given as input.
To use this script, you need to replace your CUCM parameters before running in the script. All of these are mentioned as comments in the script.
